Same girl in both photos, from The Sartorialist. I adore how she's wearing different hats, but in the same quirky, jaunty and humorous manner. Isabella Blow would be proud to see a real woman wearing a hat that is more avant garde than the usual newsboy.
Isabella Blow's eccentric style quickly set her apart from the rest, catapulting her to success as a fashion director at Vogue and Tatler. Her unusual style and penchant for Phillip Treacy hats made her into a style icon. Her recent suicide may have influenced this season's fashion designers, as such creations were a staple on the FW 07.08 runways.

Where do ball caps fit in? Beanies? Dunce caps?
Love your blog!
your comments on my blog are HILARIOUS. keep it up.
also: Those boys look TOTALLY DIFFERENT - the calculus of their outfits come from completely different textbooks - they just happen to use some of the same symbols. TOUCHE!
Isabella is a style icon. Daring, unique, a walking work of art.
I always love to see Phillip Treacy's hats but also love Stephen Jones's too. It is a shame that these days there are few occasions where such hats are suitable. Unless you are a fashion icon living in a fashion capital. Or on a runway.
At least those milliners are able to keep the craft alive with their collaborations with designers for the shows.
